Dear LMS Families,

Please make a note of these upcoming important changes to our schedule. 

• Thursday, October 2, 2025 - All Leonia Schools are closed for Yom Kippur. 

• Friday, October 3, 2025 - LMS will have a Delayed Opening for students to allow for Professional Development for LMS teachers and staff. Teachers and staff will report to school for a full day, and will engage in professional learning and staff development from 8:00am-10:00am. 

Here’s what you need to know about the Delayed Opening on Friday: 

• Students arrive beginning at 10:17 AM.

• Student supervision begins promptly at 10:17 AM. Students should not be dropped off before 10:17 AM.

• First Bus Pickup in Edgewater is at 9:15 AM.

• Lunch is served.

• Regular dismissal time at 2:51 PM.

• Morning SACC will be closed. SACC afternoon program will operate on a typical schedule for LMS students who are enrolled.
