Leonia Swim Club - 140 Grand Avenue, Leonia, NJ

MORNING DROP OFF/ARRIVAL - Parents may drop their child off directly at the Leonia Swim Club (available to Leonia and Edgewater residents), give permission for their child to walk directly to the Leonia Swim Club (available to Leonia residents only), or carpool available to Leonia and Edgewater residents). Arrival time for check in is 8:45am. For our families who live in Edgewater, if you cannot drop your child off directly at the Leonia Swim Club, they may ride their typical morning bus to LMS, and we will transport these students, with teacher chaperones, to the Leonia Swim Club at 8:45am.

CHECK IN - ALL attending students must check in with an LMS faculty member for attendance upon arrival at the pool. Students may not leave the event early unless they are signed out by a parent. IF your child needs to ride their typical morning bus to LMS, their attendance will be taken in school prior to being transported to the Leonia Swim Club.

DISMISSAL - ALL students in attendance will be dismissed directly from the Leonia Swim Club at 2:45pm. You will indicate your dismissal plan below in the permission form. Students may be picked up by their parent/guardian (available to Leonia and Edgewater residents), walk home (available to Leonia residents only), walk to their friend's home in Leonia (available to Leonia and Edgewater residents), ride their typical afternoon Edgewater bus to their typical bus stop in Edgewater (available to Edgewater residents only), or carpool (available to Leonia and Edgewater residents). ALL typical Edgewater buses will be at the Leonia Swim Club at 2:45pm ready to receive their student riders.

HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES - Attending students must follow ALL health and safety rules in place at the Leonia Swim Club.

CONDUCT - All attending students will demonstrate the best of our LMS Core Values while enjoying this special event. Inappropriate conduct while at the Leonia Swim Club may result in disciplinary action, and may result in the student needing to be picked up early from the event by their parent/guardian.

NOTE ABOUT ASTHMA INHALERS AND EPI-PENS - In order to participate in field trips, any student that has a medical condition such as Asthma or allergies, and has previously had doctor's orders for an Inhaler or Epi-Pen, needs to provide the doctor's order and medication to school nurse for each new school year.
